Hotel Information

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Marriott Courtyard for Thursday night through Saturday night. For reservations call (817) 335-1300 or (800) 321-2211 before February 24. Rates are $89 single or double and $109 suite. To receive the special rate, please be sure to mention "TCU Dept. of Philosophy Workshop in Ancient Philosophy."

The Courtyard is located just north of campus just off University Drive. We'll have shuttle buses running from there to campus.

If you're interested in cheaper accomodations, you might try the Fairfield Inn, located about three or four blocks from the Courtyard. The number there is (817) 335-3151. Alternatively, if you, like myself, have very little money, we'll have extra bedrooms and couches available at assorted professors' and students' houses around town. Let me know ahead of time if you need a place to stay.

If you like your diggs even more upscale, let me recommend the downtown Marriott Courtyard, located at 601 Main St. The number there is (817) 885-8700. The hotel is in a recently restored building in the heart of downtown, which is hopping these days with lots of restaurants, bars, the Bass Performance Hall, and a couple of good movie houses. The hotel is about a twenty minute drive from campus.
